W203 Front White Light: Zhenged

Posted by: eugenemon on: March 16, 2008

Once again, I don’t why I just keep doing it, I zhenged the car. This time is the front lights.

The xenon lights are not on. The light on it is the reflection from the flash.

They were zhenged with these chrome coated W5W bulbs. Why chrome coated?

That’s because without the chrome coating, you can actually see the bluish of the bulb. Like so unnice. So with the chrome coating, you see nothing.

This is the comparison between the Philips 3400k W5W bulbs and the chrome-coated 8000K W5W bulbs.

Just for your information, the color temperature 6000K is perfect white. So 8000k is more of bluish and 3400k being more of yellowish.

The bulbs itself. The blue one is the philips one and the other is the chrome one.

This is the close up of the philips bulb with xenon light on. The xenon light is actually 6000k. So what the philips bulb gives out is more yellowish which doesn’t really appeal.

A night view. Looks really blue on the picture but in fact, it’s more of white with only a little blue. :D
